The Wildside Kitchen is a Tasmanian cooking school situated in the Heritage Village of Tarraleah just a two hour drive from Hobart and Launceston in the Central Highlands. The Wildside Kitchen runs a series of one and two day courses throughout the year teaching participants how to cook, prepare and preserve Tasmania’s wonderful fresh local produce.
Along the way our guests get to meet the producers, select the best of Tasmania’s produce, learn how to catch and prepare wild salmon and trout, and sample some of the best local and international wines and whiskey’s.
